When dropping off your pet please bring with you any food or medication that they may need. We are prepared to provide your dogs meals at no extra charge. We have all necessary supplies (bowls, beds, treats, toys, etc.). However, we encourage you to bring any personal items that will bring comfort to your dog. Please keep your own inventory of items to take with you at pick up.
Yes, we would love to watch your puppy! There is a $10 puppy fee added daily. However, this is not an arbitrary fee. If your puppy is truly housetrained, mild tempered, and/or non destructive then we will happily waive this fee.
No, there is no cancellation fee. Please respect that we will reject potential clients if you are booked with us. Last minute cancellations do affect our bottom line.
No, we do not have any breed restrictions. We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes as long as they are up to date on vaccines and non aggressive - especially towards children and other dogs. We understand some dogs are territorial and dominant. This is expected, so please call us if us you have questions about whether or not we can take your dog and to schedule a meet and greet. Honesty about your dog's behavior will prepare us better to take them. We do not shy away high needs dogs. We simply need to be prepared for them.
If your dog gets sick while in our care we will immediately contact you. If needed, your dog will be brought to the nearest available veterinary clinic. We will also provide updates on your dog's condition and follow any instructions from the vet.
In a circumstance where we are unable to get a hold of you during an emergency we will make our best determination based on your dogs needs, and the emergency information you provide us at drop-off. If care is needed, you will be held responsible for all expenses needed at that time. In a situation where we are required to make costly or life saving decisions Dog's Day and staff are not to be held liable for any outcome due to any rare or undesirable situation. You may waive our ability to make decisions on your pets behalf, or provide general emergency instructions, at drop-off.
